AI Employee is a subscription tool agencies can turn on to help their clients (called sub-accounts or sublocations) get work done faster using AI.
📦 How Agencies Use It
An agency signs up for AI Employee.They can choose two options for their Sub-locations:
🧮 Pay-Per-Use: Pay only when the tool is used.
🔁 Unlimited: Pay a flat monthly fee to use it as much as they want.
When an agency turns on AI Employee, they can let each of their sub-accounts use it however they want (either pay-per-use or unlimited).
💸 How Affiliates Get Paid (Attribution)
Affiliates earn 40% commission, but only when sublocations use the Unlimited option, You do not get commission for Pay-per-Use.
Here’s how it works step by step:
You, the affiliate, refer an agency to HighLevel using your ref link or ref code to gohighlevel.com/ai
That agency signs up to a GHL Plan and later subscribes to AI Employee.
Inside the agency’s AI Employee settings, your affiliate code is automatically tracked WHEN THEY SIGN UP WITH Gohighlevel.com/ai otherwise, they need to TYPE YOUR CODE in the pop-up line inside the AI employee settings
When that agency turns on Unlimited for any sublocation, they get charged $97 per sublocation that has unlimited active.
You get 40% of that $97 — that’s $38.80 per unlimited sublocation.
🔍 Example
Let’s say:
You referred an agency.
That agency has 20 sublocations.
10 of those sublocations are using Unlimited AI Employee.
10 are using Pay-Per-Use.
HighLevel charges the agency:
10 sublocations × $97 = $970/month
You (the affiliate) earn:
40% of $970 = $388/month
You don’t earn commission from the sublocations that are
pay-per-use— only from the ones using the Unlimited plan.

They have two options:

They can end their trial early and become a paid user.This makes them eligible for Summer of AI.They can then activate Unlimited AI Employee for 30 days at no extra cost.
💸 Option 2: Stay on Trial
They can stay on the trial, but: They cannot access Summer of AI.They can still use AI Employee, but it will be pay-per-use only.
OR, they can choose to upgrade AI Employee to Unlimited, but they must pay $97 immediately.

🔁 Alternate Method
You can also use a direct link (https://app.gohighlevel.com/ai-employee-promo?fp_ref=YOURCODEHERE) that bypasses the main page, but it's not recommended because:
Users don’t see the full explanation.
They might feel confused or miss critical context about what they’re getting.
🧠 What Happens When an Existing Customer Signs Up?
Depending on their current affiliate code status, they’ll see one of three pop-ups:
🔁 1. Old Affiliate Code (Over 30 Days)
If they have an AI Employee affiliate code older than 30 days, they’ll see a pop-up prompting them to switch.
They can then replace the old affiliate code with yours (or whoever referred them).
🚫 2. New Affiliate Code (Under 31 Days)
If they already added an affiliate code within the last 30 days, they’ll see a pop-up blocking the switch.
It will say they can’t change affiliates yet, because of the 31-day rule.
✅ 3. No Prior AI Employee Code
If they don’t have any AI Employee code on file, your code will be automatically added to their account.
They’ll be able to start their trial or jump into Unlimited right away.
⚡ Bonus Tip: Unlimited Access
If the existing customer does not already have Unlimited AI Employee active, they can jump straight into it during Summer of AI — no waiting, no restrictions for 30 days.
