Business coaching can be pricey, so you’ll want to get the most out of every session, right?
We would too — so here’s a few tips to really get down to the nitty gritty with your coach!
First, be honest with them.
It can be challenging for business owners to show their weaknesses, but transparency will ensure that you get the most benefit from the work you put in.
Next, you’ll want to have realistic expectations.
Sure, business coaching can help you be more successful.
But it certainly won’t make you a millionaire overnight.
You’ll still have to put in hard work and invest time into your company!
Another important tip is to understand the coach’s job.
Coaches are meant to pass on their knowledge and guide you, like a business Yoda of sorts.
That said, they can’t make all of your decisions or run your business for you.
Lastly, at the end of every session, ask yourself the following:
- How do I feel after the previous session?
- How am I feeling now?
- Have I accomplished my goals from the last session?
- If I didn’t, what stopped me?
- What do I want to include in my next session?
With these questions and tips in mind, you’ll be sure to get the most out of each of your sessions.
And get the best bang for your buck too, of course!
