Business coaching can be a bit of a mystery if you’ve never tried it before.
And we get it!
There’s a lot of misinformation out there when it comes to what business coaching is all about.
But we hope that in our many years coaching business owners, we've cleared up quite a few misconceptions about what coaching is—and isn’t.
Myth #1: Coaching is only for failing businesses
Sure, some entrepreneurs seek out coaching to fix a struggling business.
But that doesn’t mean it’s only for at-risk businesses
Quality coaching can actually turn a good company into a great one.
Maybe your business is strong but stagnant, and you don’t know how to grow.
The point is, whether you’re struggling or succeeding, coaching can help your business become what you dream it can be.
Myth #2: A business coach does the work for you
Now this misconception can put a lot of business owners in a tough spot.
Coaches are dedicated people, but they can only meet you halfway — they won’t run the marathon for you.
Myth #3: Business coaching is a quick fix.
Like any other type of coaching, business coaching is a process.
And like any other challenge, there are necessary steps you’ll need to take in order to achieve your goals.
You can’t expect things to change overnight!
As you can see, business coaching is far more complex than its reputation might suggest.
