Have you heard of the ‘activator method’?
Chances are, this is an unfamiliar term to you, so let’s demystify it.
Although the activator method has only recently risen in popularity, the method has existed since 1967, and makes use of a small technological advice to assist chiropractors in the diagnosis and adjustment of mobility issues.
Now, the term ‘Activator’ has two meanings and refers to:
A decide that can be used to adjust joints
An assessment procedure that determines the location of the issue and the appropriate method for treatment
By way of activation, gentle impulse forces are released into the spine to restore mobility in the targeted area and is most commonly used to treat the following:
- Temporomandibular joint disorder
- Neurological conditions
- Disc problems
- Inflamed joints
- Back pain
- Neck pain
