To some, chiropractic care may seem like some sort of dark, mysterious art.
We get it – there is a lot of fancy terminology at play here.
Let’s try to remedy some of that.
Chiropractic is a type of complementary medicine rooted in the idea that your body can heal itself with the help of hands-on manipulations from a trained professional.
These manipulations are meant to help realign your joints and provide relief from pain.
While the main focus of chiropractic care is the spine, our practice is not limited to spinal adjustments.
Through a variety of careful techniques, chiropractors are able to target additional areas of the body for relief from neck pain, back pain, headaches, poor posture, and more.
Practicing chiropractors are required to earn a postgraduate degree called a doctor of chiropractic – which takes about 4 years to complete.
All states require chiropractors to be licensed, and some chiropractors specialize in certain areas.
We’re also, typically, pretty friendly people, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have about chiropractic care that we may have overlooked here :)
