Brushing our teeth – we hope – has become so commonplace that we are guilty, from time to time, of forgetting the basics.
So, {{contact.first_name}}, let's see how much you remember.
You’ve heard it before – dentists, ourselves not excepted, recommend that you brush at least twice daily.
One of those brushing sessions should take place right before bed, but when the other session occurs is up to you.
That said, we recommend brushing at the start of your day – to reduce bad breath, and ensure that your friends won’t mind getting up close and personal ;)
You should use a soft bristled brush in conjunction with a fluoride based toothpaste.
But what about technique?
Start by placing your toothbrush at a 45 degree angle on your gums.
Gently brush back and forth using short strokes – about the length of a tooth.
Brush all sides of your teeth – inside, outside, and the biting surface.
To clean the inside of your front teeth, tilt your brush vertically, then brush up-and-down.
Go over every single tooth in your mouth, making sure to hit every surface.
The whole process should take about two minutes.
Finish off with a bit of floss, and you’re good to go!
