We understand that working out is about finding the balance, but what about balance training itself?
We take balance for granted, but, especially as we age, balance is important.
Think about this:
Most people have pretty poor posture, right?
Even as you’re reading this, are you sitting up straight, or slouching?
Poor posture leads to hunched shoulders, anterior pelvic tilt, and reduced mobility of the upper-back – symptoms that, left untreated, worsen with time.
Balance and posture, however, have a happy marriage:
Train for balance, and you will improve your posture.
Improve your posture, and balance training becomes easier.
When balance training becomes easier, you can – get this – prevent injury in the first place, so long as you remain consistent with your exercises.
Maintain this consistency for life and you’ll avoid, as often happens, losing your coordination as you get older.
You’ll also slow down the degeneration of your muscles and keep your movements sharp and under your control.
Modern life is a balancing act – with balance training, you’ll be able to walk life's turbulent tightrope in style!
