Events of the last few years have necessitated that folks workout at home.
Some folks even prefer working out at home to working out at the gym.
But, as you can imagine, we might be a little biased toward the latter ;)
So, {{contact.first_name}}, we’d like to share with you some of the benefits of going to the gym vs. working out at home.
Let’s start with something a little more obvious…
The amenities.
Working out can be more fun and more effective when you have a range of options to choose from.
At home you are limited to what you have on hand – to your own body weight, typically, or to a collection of dumbbells, mats, and ropes.
While these can serve you well and for a while, you may not be able to workout every part of your body, and you may find yourself becoming bored of the same old routine.
Variety is the spice of life – right?
In addition to variety, gym-goers also have access to classes and workshops:
Whether it's personal training, yoga, zumba, pilates, or anything else, you can be sure to have fun and get fit while doing it.
And if that wasn’t enough to keep you entertained, you can hit the sauna or the pool after a nice session.
Lastly, if motivation is something you struggle with, you may find the environment at the gym supportive and inspiring.
Seeing everyone else working so hard tends to make us want to go that extra mile, and, when not distracted by all the other attractions in our homes, we can stay focused on our fitness goals.
