Coaching is an investment in your life — a powerful, and potentially expensive one.
That said, you’ll want to get the most out of every session.

Just follow these tips to take charge of your coaching sessions.
And get the best bang for your buck too, of course!
First, set an agenda for each session.
It can be challenging to know where to start when there’s so much we want to work on.
We recommend identifying three goals before each session — this will keep you on task and ensure that you get the most benefit from your hard work.
Next, don’t expect your coach to do the heavy lifting.
It seems obvious, but it would defeat the purpose of hiring a coach in the first place!
Coaches are meant to share their knowledge and help you push your limits — but they can’t do the work for you!
Lastly, after each session, reflect on the following:
- What was your biggest insight from the previous session?
- What actions have you taken since then?
- Have you accomplished your goals from the last session?
- If you didn’t, what got in your way?
- What support do you need from your coach?
With these questions and tips in mind, you’ll be sure to get the most out of each of your sessions :)
