Listen closely {{contact.first_name}}…
Do you hear that?
It's your gut.
It's trying to tell you something, but unfortunately you don't speak Guttonease…
Thankfully, your body comes equipped with a natural translator.
Of course, we can only be talking about everyone's favorite organ:
Your skin!
Science has proven that an unhealthy gut will have a big impact on your overall health, and especially on the appearance of your skin.
The signs of an unhealthy gut may appear in the form of spots, inflammation, eczema or rosacea.
We don’t want that…
So how does one go about improving their gut health?
If you’ve got a gut feeling that the answer’s related to your diet, well, perhaps you do speak Guttonease…
As a rule, try and maintain a balanced diet, including lots of plants, and foods rich in fiber.
Fruit, Vegetables, nuts, and wholegrains all feed healthy bacteria – which promote good gut health.
You can also introduce good bacteria to your gut by eating probiotic foods such as yogurt, as well as fermented food and drinks.
Your little gut buddies also love extra-virgin olive oil, artichokes, chicory, leeks, lettuce, shallots, garlic, and onions.
Conversely, you’ll want to watch out for the “bad” bacteria.
Those little guys just love processed foods…
So skip the chips if you can. (We know – the good stuff.)
To add insult to injury, stress and anxiety can exacerbate your gut.
So a perfect way to promote good gut health would be to come pay us a visit for some much needed TLC ;)
