Your plumbing is causing trouble and you’re thinking about doing the maintenance yourself.
After all, money is tight and you’d like to spare yourself an expensive bill from a plumbing professional.
Does that sound about right?
It’s not a bad idea, and we respect your commitment!
However, after having been in the biz for many years, we’ve learned a thing or two:
Despite what you may have heard, small plumbing problems don’t necessarily have simple solutions.
In fact, plumbing is a pretty tedious job to undertake — especially if you’re inexperienced.
We recommend that you stick to smaller jobs, such as fixture replacement and standard declogging — and leave pipe replacement to the pros.
If you must do some repairs, take care to avoid over tightening your fixtures — this can damage or even break them.
And remember, hand tight is just right!
If a job seems too challenging, call a professional who can complete the job safely, and to a high degree of quality.
We know just the people ;)
