Most people don’t really think about the roof over their head.
That is, until it springs a leak!
Believe it or not — just because your roof isn’t full of gaping holes, doesn’t mean you don’t need a new one.
So how do you know when to have your roofing done?
As a rule of thumb, you should replace your roof when it reaches its maximum expected lifespan — even if it still looks good.
But what if you only got it done a few years ago?
Well, the obvious signs to look out for are things like missing shingles, leaks, or small animals finding their way into your attic.
There are a few more subtle clues that, when spotted early, can save you tons of time and money on more serious repairs down the road.
These include curling shingles, damaged flashing, missing tiles, discolored ceilings, and ice dams.
Not all signs are visible to the untrained eye, so if you suspect damage or want some tips on maintaining your roof, give us a call or reply to this email so we can give you a hand :)
