Did You Know HighLevel Can Grade Your Leads by How They Engage With You?
HighLevel Contact Engagement Score
HighLevel’s Contact Engagement Score assigns points to leads based on how they interact with your business - email opens, link clicks, appointment bookings, form submissions, and more. A higher score indicates stronger engagement and a greater likelihood of conversion, enabling you to prioritize follow-ups and tailor your outreach.
Setting Up Contact Engagement Score
To start grading your leads:
1️⃣ Navigate to Settings in the bottom left of your HighLevel dashboard.
2️⃣ Scroll down and click Manage Scoring.
3️⃣ Review the draft rules, customize as needed, then click Publish and Save to activate the scoring engine.
Creating HighLevel Scoring Rules
Within Manage Scoring, you can:
✅ Add Points for positive actions (e.g., email opens, link clicks, appointment confirmations).
✅ Subtract Points for negative actions (e.g., unsubscribes, spam reports).
✅ Define Conditions using triggers like Email Event, Appointment Status, or custom tags.
Each rule lets you set a trigger on the left and the point calculation on the right—fully customizable to match your engagement strategy.
Testing HighLevel Scoring Rules
Once rules are published:
1️⃣ Send a test email with a trigger link to a contact.
2️⃣ Click the link and refresh the contact’s profile—the engagement score should update.
3️⃣ Book and confirm an appointment through your demo calendar to see additional points added.
This real-time feedback ensures your scoring rules work as intended.
Using HighLevel Engagement Scores in Workflows
Leverage engagement scores to automate rewards and segmentation:
✅ Workflow Trigger – Contact Engagement Score: Kick off a workflow when a lead’s score reaches a threshold (e.g., 10 points) to send a thank-you email or special offer.
✅ Modify Contact Engagement Score: Within workflows, adjust scores based on actions like SMS replies to gamify engagement or nurture low-scoring contacts.
By integrating engagement scoring into your automations, you can gamify customer interactions, reward loyalty, and ensure your sales team focuses on the hottest leads.
