What is SOC 2 Type II?
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a voluntary compliance standard created by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). It outlines how organizations should manage customer data based on five specific criteria.
We were accredited on Security, Confidentiality, and Availability.
A Type I report looks at a company’s security controls at a single point in time. A Type II report is much stricter. It signals that we are the "real deal." We are an enterprise-grade platform that has proven its capabilities. It confirms that our security controls are designed correctly and have operated effectively over time.

Abhishek Tripathi, Sr. Director, Cyber Security & IT Operations, emphasizes that this milestone proves our capability to keep customer data safe consistently, not just during an audit.

Tripathi adds that SOC 2 Type II is the height of security attestation. It means we are not only secure at a single point in time, but we are capable of being secure consistently.
A journey of dedication
Hitting this standard so quickly shows our team's focus. We started our Information Security Management Program in April 2025. Through the hard work of our Cybersecurity, Engineering, IT, People, and Platform teams, we stayed ready for a SOC 2 audit by the end of the year.
"Personally, I think it is a great achievement that an organization as young and focused could achieve this in such a short time," Tripathi notes.
Moving forward
We are celebrating this milestone, but we know security is a journey rather than a destination. This certification validates that our controls and processes are robust. However, our work does not stop here.
