HighLevel Now Integrates with Xero Accounting Software

HighLevel now offers a direct integration to Xero. With it, you can create invoices in HighLevel and automatically send them to your Xero account. Additionally, contacts will import from Xero into HighLevel to support accurate mapping. The goal is simple: Reduce manual entry and keep your ledger aligned with your sales activity in HighLevel.

What you can do

  • One way sync: Contacts import from Xero into HighLevel. Invoices created or sent in HighLevel are created in Xero.

  • Complete invoice details: Line items, quantities, amounts, and discounts are included.

  • Tax handling: HighLevel applies a mapped tax rate in Xero. If the rate does not exist, HighLevel creates the tax rate and applies it on the invoice.

  • Currency handling: HighLevel passes the invoice currency to Xero. If that currency is not enabled in the Xero organization, the currency is added during sync. A Xero plan that supports multi currency is required.

  • Account mapping: Set a default revenue account in the Xero settings inside HighLevel before posting invoices.

What is not included

  • Receipt syncing is not supported

  • Product or item catalog sync is not included.

How to set up Xero Integration in HighLevel

  1. In HighLevel, go to Settings > Integrations

  2. In the Xero box, click the Connect button

  3. Sign in to Xero, choose the organization, then allow access.

  4. Return to HighLevel and confirm the connection on the Integrations page

  5. In your Xero account, go to Settings and then choose the default account and the organization used when posting invoices.
