Unlock LATAM: Mercado Pago is Now Officially Live in HighLevel
If you've been trying to serve customers across Latin America, you already know the friction. Payment providers that don't localize. Checkout experiences that feel foreign to buyers who've used Mercado Pago their whole lives. Workarounds that work until they don't.
That changes today.
Mercado Pago is now officially live on HighLevel, one of the most requested payment integrations we've ever received. Native, direct and built for the markets that needed it most.
What is Mercado Pago?:
If you operate in LATAM, this needs no introduction. Mercado Pago is the dominant payments platform across Latin America, the provider millions of buyers trust for everyday transactions. Bringing it natively into HighLevel means your customers aren't being asked to check out with something unfamiliar. They're checking out with something they use every day.
As Chase Buckner, Sr. Director of Product Marketing at HighLevel puts it, "One of the biggest things I learned running an agency is that your clients' customers don't care about your tech stack. They care about having a smooth, familiar experience. Adding Mercado Pago to HighLevel means agencies serving LATAM markets can give their clients' customers exactly that, a checkout experience they already know and trust, without any of the duct-tape solutions we used to have to build around."
Where is it available?:
From the moment you connect Mercado Pago, here's what's unlocked:
Accept localized payments across key LATAM markets with a provider your customers already trust
Use it alongside your existing providers, mixing and matching based on region, customer segment or campaign
Control exactly where it's enabled using the Configure Provider feature, toggling it on or off without disrupting anything else
Expand into LATAM without adding operational complexity or stitching together third-party workarounds
Getting connected, it's faster than you think:
Setup is straightforward:
Go to Payments in your left nav bar
Open the Integrations tab
Select Mercado Pago and connect using your Public Key and Access Token
Complete the webhook setup inside your Mercado Pago account
That's it. Once connected, Mercado Pago is ready to use wherever payments are accepted inside HighLevel.
Why this matters?:
This is the foundation, not the finish line. On the roadmap:
Support for more LATAM regions beyond the initial seven
Dynamic currency conversion based on product currency (currently limited to local and regional currencies)
Continued improvements to global payment flexibility across the platform
LATAM is open for business:
The infrastructure is in place. The integration is live. The markets are waiting.
If you have customers across Latin America, or have been wanting to reach them, now is the time to connect Mercado Pago and start accepting payments the way your customers actually want to pay.
