What exactly is the Summer of AI?

It's HighLevel's summer-long promotion running June 1 through August 31, 2026. Five AI tools (Ask AI, AI Studio, Workflow AI, Funnel AI and Email AI) are free all summer for every account. Plus, any account that hasn't activated AI agents yet gets 30 days free on Conversation AI, Voice AI and all AI agents. The clock starts on your first activation.

Does the Summer of AI promotion apply to annual plan subscribers or only monthly?

Both. Annual subscribers are eligible for the free AI tools and the 30-day AI agent trial just like monthly subscribers.

Can I stack the 50% off promotion with the free AI offer?

During the 50% off promo, the platform discount and free AI offer are both available at the same time. Outside of that, promotional offers are generally not combinable with other discounts, credits or coupons unless HighLevel expressly states otherwise on the offer page.

When does the 50% off promotion apply?

The 50% off deal is only available during specific windows. Outside those windows, the free AI offer is still active all summer. If you want the platform discount, act during one of the three windows listed above.

Are affiliates eligible to earn commissions on both the 50% off platform deal and the free AI trial?

Yes. Affiliates can promote both offers simultaneously and earn overlapping commissions on each. The Summer of AI and the 50% off promo are designed to stack, and affiliates have double the earning potential during active windows when both are live at the same time.

If I upgrade my platform plan during a 50% off promo window, does the promotional pricing apply to the new plan rate or my old one?

The promotional pricing applies to the new plan you upgrade to. Your billing resets at the time of upgrade and a credit is applied for any unused time on your previous subscription. The 50% discount then runs for three months at the new plan rate before returning to standard pricing.

What's a Success Pack and do I get one?

Every month HighLevel releases a free Success Pack tied to that month's featured AI tool. It includes implementation guides, snapshots and a live 5-day challenge. These are available to trial users, new customers and existing customers throughout the entire summer.

Do I need to be a paid customer to get the free AI tools?

Trial users are eligible too. If you're on a 14-day free trial, you can activate the Summer of AI offer right now. The five free tools are available immediately. The 30-day free AI agent trial starts the moment you activate it.

What if I'm already using some AI features? Am I still eligible?

The five free tools (Ask AI, AI Studio, Workflow AI, Funnel AI and Email AI) are available to all accounts all summer regardless of current usage. The 30-day free AI agent trial applies to subaccounts that were not actively using AI agents between March 1 and May 31, 2026. Any subaccounts you haven't activated yet would qualify.

I'm already a paying HL customer. Is there an offer for me?

Yes. All five free AI tools are unlocked for your account all summer. If any of your subaccounts haven't activated AI agents yet, they're eligible for the 30-day free trial. This is the fastest way to get your entire client base running on AI without a single upfront cost.

I was a previous HighLevel customer but canceled. Can I still take advantage of this offer?

Yes. Previous HighLevel customers who canceled are eligible for the Summer of AI offers. If you're ready to come back, you can start a new trial and take advantage of everything the promotion includes.

I trialed AI features in 2025 but didn't stay on. Am I eligible for the free 30-day trial again?

Yes, provided your subaccount was not actively using the applicable AI feature between March 1 and May 31, 2026. The eligibility lookback period is specific to those three months. Prior usage in 2025 does not disqualify you.

A subaccount is showing as ineligible. Does that mean they're already paying or already covered through August?

An ineligible status means the subaccount didn't meet one of the eligibility requirements. The most common reasons are that it's already enrolled in an AI Employee subscription (in which case it's covered under that plan) or it was actively using the specific AI feature between March 1 and May 31, 2026. If it's already on an AI Employee subscription, nothing changes for that subaccount. If you believe the status is an error, contact support to verify.

Why am I seeing a billing setup screen when I'm trying to activate free AI?

This is expected. HighLevel needs a valid payment method on file before activating any AI feature, even during a free trial period. You won't be charged during the promotional window, but the billing step is a system requirement to convert access once the trial ends. Adding a card does not start any charges.

Can I activate the five free AI tools without starting the 30-day AI agent trial clock?

Yes. The five free tools are available to all accounts all summer with no trial clock attached. They run through August 31 regardless of when you activate them. The 30-day trial clock only starts when you specifically activate Conversation AI or Voice AI for a subaccount. You can use the free tools all summer without ever triggering the agent trial.

Can I activate the free AI tools across all subaccounts without triggering the AI agent trial for each one?

Yes. Activating the five free tools does not automatically trigger the AI agent trial. The agent trial is a separate enrollment that starts on first activation per subaccount. You control which subaccounts get enrolled and when. Keep in mind that agency owners have one opportunity to opt in eligible subaccounts, so plan before you activate.

Does AI Studio need to be manually enabled per subaccount or is it automatic?

AI Studio is included in the five free tools available to all accounts this summer, but it is not automatically enabled across every subaccount. You'll need to activate it for each subaccount you want to use it. Agency owners have one opportunity to opt in eligible subaccounts for AI promotional features, so be intentional before you start.

Is AI Studio free for new clients who create subaccounts under an agency during the promo?

Yes. Any subaccount created under your agency during the promotional window is eligible for the free AI tools and the 30-day AI agent trial, provided it meets the standard eligibility requirements. It cannot already be enrolled in an AI Employee subscription and cannot have used the applicable AI feature between March 1 and May 31, 2026.

What happens after the 30-day free trial on AI agents ends?

You'll be prompted to choose a plan. If you select the AI Employee Growth plan ($50/mo) or the AI Employee Unlimited plan ($97/mo) at the end of your trial, you get another 30 free days before billing starts. That's up to 60 days total before you pay anything. If you don't select a plan, usage after the trial converts to pay-per-use billing automatically.

On the AI Employee Plan, what does "3X usage vs unlimited plan" actually mean for Ask AI and AI Studio?

On the AI Growth plan ($50/mo), Ask AI and AI Studio come with a usage allocation that operates on a 5-hour rolling window. If you hit that limit, the account is throttled for the remainder of that window and then resets. On the AI Employee plan ($97/mo), you get 3 times that same allocation before throttling kicks in. Once the fair use policy limit is reached on either plan, subaccounts can continue on pay-per-use without interruption.

What happens after 100 Voice AI minutes on the Growth plan?

The AI Growth plan ($50/mo) includes 100 Voice AI agent minutes per subaccount. Once those are used, the subaccount moves to the plan the agency has selected. If no plan has been chosen, it falls back to pay-per-use billing automatically. No calls are cut off mid-conversation — the billing model shifts, not the access.

What's the difference between "usage included" on the Growth plan versus "at token cost" on pay-per-use?

"Usage included" means Ask AI and AI Studio usage is bundled into your monthly plan fee up to the fair use limit, with no separate per-use charge during normal usage. "At token cost" (pay-per-use) means every interaction is billed individually at HighLevel's then-current token rates with no monthly minimum. If your subaccounts are light users, pay-per-use may cost less. If they use these tools regularly throughout the month, the Growth plan's included usage will almost always be the better value.

Where do I set my margins on the Growth plan?

Rebilling margins are set at the agency level, not the subaccount level. On the $497 platform plan, you can adjust your AI usage markup from the default 10% up to 10x. On the $297 plan, rebilling passes usage at cost with no markup capability. On the $97 platform plan, there is no rebilling for AI usage. The AI Growth plan itself resells at $100 by default (versus the $50 cost) and the AI Employee plan resells at $147 by default (versus the $97 cost). Only $497 agencies can change the rebilling markup configuration before the promo launches.

Will my subaccounts be able to see how much of their usage they've consumed?

No. Subaccounts do not have visibility into usage meters, dollar amounts or token counts at any point. Usage monitoring and limit-setting is managed at the agency level. Agencies can set a spending limit per subaccount (for example, $100/month) and can also set per-user limits within each subaccount (for example, $10 per user). This gives you full control over spend without exposing underlying cost data to your clients.

What happens after the 90-day promo ends? Do charges start automatically?

Yes. Each enrolled subaccount automatically converts to pay-per-use billing at the end of its promotional period unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel any subaccount's AI access at any time through your account settings, by submitting a support ticket or by calling (888) 732-4197. Canceling one AI feature does not cancel others — each is managed separately.

Will I be charged automatically when the free trial ends?

Yes. Each enrolled subaccount converts to pay-per-use billing at the end of the promotional period unless you cancel before it ends. One important note: phone, SMS, carrier and telephony charges are not included in the free promotional period. Those usage fees apply throughout.

Who is responsible for notifying subaccount clients that their free AI trial is ending?

You are. The T&Cs are explicit that agency owners are responsible for informing their subaccount clients that promotional AI access will convert to pay-per-use billing at the end of the trial unless canceled, that continued use will be charged at HighLevel's then-current rates and that cancellation must happen before the promotional period ends to avoid charges. Each subaccount's activation timing and cancellation status may differ, so track these individually.

Can I rebill AI usage costs to my subaccount clients and can I mark them up?

Yes, with conditions. If you're on the $297 plan, you can rebill AI usage fees to your subaccounts through HighLevel's rebilling feature at cost. If you're on the $497 plan, you can also apply a markup to those usage fees, turning AI costs into a revenue stream. You remain solely responsible for all usage charges, rebilled charges and any related customer billing disputes.

How much will AI Studio cost after the promo ends?

Can HighLevel change or end the promotion early?

HighLevel reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate any part of the promotion if fraud, abuse, technical issues or other circumstances affect the integrity of the offer. Accounts found manipulating eligibility or abusing the promotion may have their access revoked.

How do we enter the $100,000 contest?

No registration required. Any agency with qualifying AI subscriptions is automatically entered. Points are earned based on active AI Employee Growth ($50/mo, 3 points) and AI Employee Unlimited ($97/mo, 6 points) subscriptions at the end of each monthly scoring period. Earlier activations carry more long-term weight because they count across more periods. Division placement is based on your number of eligible subaccounts as of June 1, 2026 and locks at campaign start. Final awards and recognition take place at LevelUp in Dallas on October 26.

What is the $100,000 cash prize pool?

Customers actively using AI and subscribed to an AI Employee plan are automatically entered into the Summer of AI Contest, with a $100,000 cash prize pool split across multiple divisions (Launch, Emerging, Growth, Gold, Platinum and Diamond). Weekly Release Radar Raffles also run every Friday all summer with Apple products and a LevelUp GA ticket up for grabs each month. You must have used AI by Thursday at 11:59 PM PDT to be eligible for that week's raffle. Winners are determined by verified performance and scoring criteria. This is not a lottery or random drawing.

If I'm already on AI Employee Unlimited, do my existing subaccounts count toward contest points or only new activations?

Existing subscriptions count. Any agency with qualifying AI subscriptions earns points based on active subscriptions at the end of each monthly scoring period, regardless of when those subscriptions were created. If you were already on AI Employee Unlimited before June 1, those subaccounts start earning points from day one of the contest.

What happens if I cancel an AI subscription mid-contest? Do I lose those points?

Yes. Subscriptions that are canceled, refunded, charged back or suspended before the applicable validation date do not qualify for scoring credit. Points are based on active verified subscriptions at the end of each monthly scoring period. Canceling a subscription removes it from future scoring but does not retroactively remove points already earned in prior periods.

What's the fastest way to get all my subaccounts activated before the summer ends?

Start with the subaccounts most likely to benefit from Conversation AI and Voice AI since those have a 30-day trial clock that starts on first activation. Getting those running early maximizes your free usage window and your contest points if you're competing. The five free tools (Ask AI, AI Studio, Workflow AI, Funnel AI and Email AI) have no clock, so those can be activated any time before August 31 without urgency.
