Job Applicant Privacy Notice

I. Introduction
When you apply for a job at HighLevel Inc. or any of its affiliates (“HighLevel,” “we,” “us,” “our”), we collect some personal information (“Personal Data”) about you (“you,” “your”). This Job Applicant Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) explains what we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and who we share it with, in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU and UK GDPR, the California CCPA, and other privacy laws.

II. Scope
This Notice covers the personal information we collect when you apply for a job with us, including when we assess your fit for a role (the “Recruitment Process”). HighLevel decides how this information is used. This Notice does not cover data related to our staff (employees or independent contractors), our website, web applications, or mobile applications. For more information about our collection of Personal Data in other contexts, please see: https://www.gohighlevel.com/privacy-policy.

Some of this information (like demographic data) is considered sensitive under privacy laws. We don't need it to evaluate you for a job—we only collect it if you choose to provide it, and only to meet legal requirements.

Depending on the role, we may also run background checks or obtain security clearances as required by law.

IV. Lawful Basis for Processing

Privacy laws require us to have a valid reason to use your Personal Data. Here are the reasons we may rely on:

  • You gave us permission

  • We need to in order to consider you for a job

  • We have a legitimate business reason (like evaluating whether you’re a good fit) that doesn’t override your rights

  • We’re legally required to

  • Another reason allowed by law

You can object if we’re relying on legitimate interests—just contact us using the details in this Notice. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it anytime (though this won’t affect anything we did before you withdrew). If we need your information to process your application, we can’t move forward without it.
